6 Minute Workout

[infobox subtitle="6 Minute Fat Blasting Workout" bg="pink" color="black" opacity="on" space="30" link="no link"]Watch on Wednesday[/infobox] I started exercising religiously late last year when I started going to culinary school.  Yea, the fear of the fat got to me but I was also going through a tough break-up, so getting out of the house to exercise really helped me relieve quite a bit of my stress.  I've been working out 5 to 6 days a week, hitting up Soul Cycle, cardio classes at Equinox, going on runs, and toning all over at SLT ever since.  Both body and mind have gone through a total transformation.  I can no longer live without sweating it out - intensely, passionately, for my mind, body, and soul.

These 6 exercises focus on the abs, booty, and arms - arguably the most important places to tone up on your bod.  I love this series of 6 because no hand weights are required and they're simple enough to do at home.  No gym necessary.  I hold each exercise for 60 seconds, and move directly into the next exercise without taking a break.  I begin with abs to get warmed up, and once the first circuit is complete I repeat it 2  more times.  It's a great mini workout that's simple to throw into your day.

And finally, the best part about being an exercise monster?  The outfits, duh.  Werkin' out all the time requires lots of fun gym clothes to stay motivated, keep the laundry pile under control, and provide you with the support you need to sweat. it. out.  The tights and top seen in the video are both Lorna Jane, an Australian brand that's a favorite of mine (and making waves in the US).
