[title subtitle=""]#Trending: Front Button Skirts[/title]

Hey girl, hey, and welcome to #Trending! Every Tuesday, we’ll be curating some of our favorite looks at varying price points.

Front-button skirts have been taking the New York street scene by storm. I’ve seen them paired with graphic tees, chunky knit sweaters, and denim (on denim). If these skirts any indication that staple items of the 70’s are back and here to stay, then hell, I’m all for it!

As much as I love fall weather, it’s admittedly tricky to dress for. The day could be chilly, but it could also be surprisingly warm. These skirts, worn with knee-high boots when short, and oxfords, booties, or canvas sneakers when long, are the perfect transition piece before it becomes too cold to wear skirts in general.

A shorter person by stature, I’m usually drawn more towards skirts that are thigh and knee-length cuts in fear that anything longer would drown me out. Floor-length button skirts, however, do offer the versatility to show as much leg as I need to which, in turn, gives me the illusion of feeling as tall as I want to. Stuck in my short boat? Take advice from The Pussycat Dolls and loosen up a couple buttons (from bottom up), baby!
